About Me
Originally from Omaha, NE, I am a proud graduate of Millard North High School and earned my Finance degree from Arizona State University. My career began in healthcare recruitment, where I found my passion for helping families navigate the complex world of senior care.

With years of experience as a nurse recruiter, specializing in the geriatric division, I’ve worked closely with long-term care (LTC), assisted living, and memory care communities. My role involved sourcing, screening, and placing qualified caregivers, which directly contributed to reducing Nurse-to-Patient ratios and ensuring that residents receive the personalized care they deserve.

A deeply personal experience caring for my grandfather during his health challenges inspired me to focus on ensuring every family has access to compassionate, high-quality care. This journey opened my eyes to the difficulties many families face when finding the right resources and care for their aging loved ones. I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate the senior living landscape while managing work, family, and other responsibilities. Certifications & Training
I’ve received specialized training and certification from the Alzheimer’s Association, which equips me with the latest evidence-based, person-centered practices to care for individuals living with dementia. My training covers five essential areas: understanding Alzheimer’s and dementia, person-centered care, assessment and care planning, daily living activities, and effective communication with those experiencing dementia-related behaviors.

CareMATRIX is born out of a deep personal commitment to supporting seniors and their families in navigating the complexities of senior living.

I have always had a special place in my heart for seniors. It wasn’t until a personal experience that I really understood the need for knowledgeable support in the senior care industry. My grandfather was diagnosed and battled with cancer for several years. I witnessed firsthand the emotional toll it took on our family and the complexities of figuring out his unique care needs. Going through this, I grew in my passion for senior care.

With a background in medical sales, nursing recruitment, executive recruiting, and B2B sales, I bring a unique blend of expertise to this vital industry. Each role has provided valuable insights and skills that uniquely contribute to CareMATRIX’s approach during unpredictable times.

In my free time, I love to spend time with family and friends, stay active, do yoga in the park, see live music, and try out new restaurants around town. These activities not only help me stay balanced and energized but also enrich my understanding of the importance of community and well-being.

For over a decade, I’ve been dedicated to guiding seniors and their families through the complexities of senior living. My personal journey with my husband, a disabled veteran, has deepened my commitment to supporting veterans. Seniors have always held a special place in my heart; from a young age, I spent time at nursing homes, connecting with individuals like Pearl, a 90-year-old with visual and hearing impairments whom I visited weekly in high school.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I cherish my roles as a wife, a mother to three children, and a grandmother. At home, I’m also the proud caretaker of Gracie, our beloved English Setter.

With almost 15 years of dedicated service in senior care, I am passionate about assisting seniors and their families navigate the complexities of finding the perfect living arrangements.

Throughout my career, I have helped countless families find peace of mind by matching them with tailored senior living solutions that meet their unique needs and preferences. My approach combines expertise in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, with a deep understanding of the emotional and practical considerations involved in such decisions.

My journey began by leading a home companion care company and then working in an assisted living community. This experience, and my experience as a senior living navigator, enables me to provide informed guidance and support every step of the way.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I spend time with my husband and two children, read, exercise, and love to travel. I am also passionate about community involvement in organizations that impact seniors.
